REGINA (Staff) — The Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association has established a scholarship as an incentive for students to study rangeland management.
The scholarship will provide $1,000 for university-level courses and $500 for technical-level courses, once funding goals are met.
The incentive is a joint venture with SSGA members, Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, the provincial department of natural resources, Trans Canada Pipeline, and others.
Contributions to the scholarship program can be made through the stock growers office in Regina. The office also has a directory of North American universities that provide courses in rangeland management.
