REGINA (Staff) – Saskatchewan economic development minister Dwain Lingenfelter is spending the next week in France and Germany, meeting with representatives of agricultural and biotechnology firms.
He will be discussing investment opportunities for Groupe Limagrain, a French co-operative and third largest seed company in the world.
A subsidiary, KingAgro, recently established a canola research station in Saskatoon.
In Germany, Lingenfelter will meet with AgrEvo officials to discuss moving the company’s main research facilities to Saskatoon.
