SASKATOON (Staff) – Flood-fearful farmers in Manitoba have free forecast and flood fighting advice available by phone.
The natural resources department has set up offices in Melita, Niverville and Russell to provide immediate information from the River Forecast Centre and from provincial water engineers across the province.
The Niverville office can be reached at 388-6480, the Russell office at 773-3830 and the Melita office at 522-3256.
