Saskatchewan throne speech promises strong economy

Saskatchewan’s legislative agenda for the coming year will focus on meeting the challenges of new world trading relationships, said the speech from the throne.

Cremona 4-H Club 50th anniversary, June 14. There will be an afternoon of visiting with former 4-H members and leaders starting with coffee and tea at 3 p.m. in the Cremona, Alta., Community Hall. There will be games for kids. Supper starts at 6 p.m. followed by a short presentation and slide show. Dance starts at 8. The committee is putting together a history book, a copy of which will be sent home with every family in attendance. All former members, leaders and interested community members are welcome.
