United Empire Loyalist Association of Canada, Regina branch, is working toward creating a commemorative cairn on the legislative grounds in Regina. Would honour the loyalists and their descendants. Calder and area celebration 2005 committee has been busy planning events for the Saskatchewan centennial. A reunion for former students and teachers of Calder and district schools will coincide with the centennial weekend scheduled for July 29-31, 2005. The proposed itinerary includes a dance, seniors tea, parade and thresherman’s show, to name a few.
