Assiniboine Community College’s Prairie Innovation Centre has received a $100,000 donation from Maxim Truck and Trailer, a Manitoba headquartered heavy-duty truck and trailer dealership.
The centre, located on Assiniboine’s North Hill campus in Brandon, will enhance agricultural training capacity and aims to expand seats in agriculture, environment and related technology programs from less than 300 to more than 800 students.
To date, the project has raised more than $12 million in private industry support.
