Providence Grain Group and Lansing Trade Group have consolidated western grain operations.
Lansing, a commodity merchandising company headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, has also increased its ownership investment in Providence to 38 percent.
The grain handling business will operate under the Providence Grain Solution brand and be headquartered in Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.
As well, Columbia Containers, a subsidiary of Providence, has approval to expand its container facility in Vancouver.
