The Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association has elected John Malinowski of Leon’s Manufacturing Company Inc. as president.
He is the first elected Canadian to hold the position.
Malinowski was selected during the association’s annual fall convention, which ran Nov. 3-6 in Dallas, Texas.
He has served on the association’s board since 2001, including working as chair of the international relations committee and convention committee. He also serves on the association’s investment committee.
Malinowski is president and part owner of Leon’s Manufacturing Company Inc.
The company based in Yorkton, Sask., makes and distributes agriculture and industrial material handling equipment under the Leon and Ramrod trademark names.
