Over the next few weeks prairie grain farmers will have a chance to talk to scientists and salespeople about the wheat and barley they grow for a living.
The Canadian Wheat Board is holding 11 field days across the Prairies beginning July 18 in Naicam, Sask. and wrapping up Aug. 6 in Headingley, Man.
Called Windows to World Markets, the field days are designed to inform farmers about the quality requirements of their customers and the board’s sales and market development efforts.
CWB marketing specialists will talk about the different customers who buy Canadian wheat and barley and what the various classes of grain are used for.
