The Co-op Refinery Complex began its $100 million 2022 turnaround April 18 and is expected to run until early June.
During this time, equipment is taken off stream for repairs, safety maintenance and upgrades.
There will be an estimated 1,500 employees on site during peak times, including an estimated 1,200 additional skilled trades personnel during the duration of the project.
The investment will help ensure the refinery operates safely and reliably.
