The Canadian Farm Business Management Council has introduced a new CD-ROM called Managing Agricultural Records for Success.
The goal of the program is to assist farm managers in compiling and understanding farm records.
Sections include: Why keep records? The fundamentals of accounting including cash versus accrual systems, the accounting cycle, and debits and credits.
The CD also outlines how to organize records and how to use them to better analyze your farm’s performance.
Included on the CD are the Accounting for Successful Farm Management books from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Purchasers can choose two of three commodities featured – grains and oilseeds, beef and dairy.
