Canola researcher gets appointment

OTTAWA (Staff) – Retired canola researcher Keith Downey has been appointed to the prestigious national advisory board on science and technology.

He is the only agriculture-sector member of the board, which is chaired by prime minister Jean ChrŽtien. Its job during the next year will be to assess federal science and technology strategy.
