MicroBio RhizoGen Corp. is centralizing its world rhizobium manufacturing and marketing operations in Saskatoon.
Its operations in the United Kingdom will relocate, triggering a $2.5 million investment in the MBR Saskatoon plant.
A wider range of inoculants for pulse crops will be produced for markets in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Japan and South America, said a company news release.
The company will almost double the size of its plant and will add 15 jobs to the Saskatoon payroll.

Cargill Ltd. is buying Simplot’s 11 retail operations in Manitoba.
Simplot Soilbuilders, a division of fertilizer manufacturer Simplot Canada, has operated in the province for more than 25 years.
The locations are Ste. Rose du Lac, Carberry, Brookdale, Altona, Letellier, Plumas, Plum Coulee, Morris, St. Pierre, Christie and Dominion City.
The sites include custom application equipment, chemical and fertilizer storage and fertilizer blending facilities.
The cost of the deal was not released.
