SASKATOON (Staff) — Do a good job growing winter wheat this year and you could walk away with $1,000 worth of farm inputs.
“Winter Wheat Challenge ’94” is organized by Ducks Unlimited, with prizes provided by Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. Four winners will be selected on the basis of how well they follow recommended production practices, using field inspections and production records.
The prizes will be awarded in each of four districts, centred around Wadena, Yorkton, Regina and Melfort/North Battleford. The entry deadline is Oct. 1, with forms available at Ducks Unlimited offices and pool elevators.
