The Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership has presented this year’s Export Award to Algarithm Ingredients of Saskatoon.
The company produces vegan omega 3 ingredients derived from micro-algae. The ingredients are used in supplements, nutraceuticals, food, beverages and childhood/infant nutrition products.
The company also provides custom formulation, marketing, co-manufacturing and private labelling services.
In presenting the award, STEP said Algarithm has significantly increased export sales, maintains a high ratio of export sales to total sales and has made a positive impact on the provincial economy by creating jobs.
