Rocky Mountain Dealerships Inc. has an agreement to buy all outstanding shares of the Roydale New Holland Inc. dealership in Red Deer, Alta.
This deal is expected to close March 1.
Rocky Mountain has focused on Case equipment in the past but the deal with Roydale New Holland marks its expansion into a new equipment line.
Roydale, which also carries Seed Hawk and Husqvarna equipment, reported revenues last year of about $22 million.
The former owners of Roydale will remain with Rocky Mountain as managers.
Rocky Mountain is one of Canada’s largest agriculture and construction equipment dealerships.
With this acquisition, it will operate a total of 25 dealership branches in the Prairies.
