Agricultural students in the Lethbridge area have access to a new $10,000 scholarship program.
The Rotary Club of Lethbridge East and Exhibition Park announced the new scholarship Sept. 11 “to further recognize the importance of agriculture in our community by supporting a top student in their pursuit of an agricultural career.”
To be eligible, students must have completed at least three years of college or university and have shown academic achievement and leadership in an agriculture-related field.
A description of other requirements have been posted as of Oct. 1 at rotarylethbridgeeast.ca and exhibitionpark.ca.
Applications must be made before Jan. 15, 2019.
