The Red River Exhibition Association has established a university scholarship named after Cam Brown, a recent inductee into the Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame.
Brown, a long-time vice-president at Feed-Rite Mills and director at Ridley Inc., has had many roles during his career in agriculture.
He also worked as field supervisor for Manitoba Pool Elevators, was a director of research at the Rapeseed Association of Canada and was director of market development for the Canadian Wheat Board.
Brown, who was raised on a mixed farm in St. Vital, Man. and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a MSc. in 1955, was inducted into the Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame July 15.
