East
- Cereals 95 percent harvested, canola 80 percent.
- Flax fields are being desiccated and swathed. Corn, sunflowers and soybeans are filling.
- Cereal yields are average but canola is less than expected due to drowned areas and small seed.
Central
- Harvest is 75-80 percent complete.
- Yields are variable with wheat 35-70 bushels per acre, barley 45-105, oats 75-110 and canola 15-45. Canola will likely average 30-35 bu. an acre.
- Aster yellows are heavy in some canola.
- Weeds heavy in fields that were wet in spring.
- Pastures are dry. Haying completed.

Interlake
- Cereal harvest is 80-90 percent complete and canola 55-65 percent. Flax is being swathed.
- Oat yields are above average, wheat 40-60 bu. an acre, barley 40-80 and canola 25-40.
- Pastures need rain.
West
- Harvest has advanced rapidly, with average to below average yields.
- Aster yellows is widespread. Root rot and septoria reduced yields on early wheat fields.
- Second-cut hay is nearing completion.
SASKATCHEWAN
South
- Harvest is about 70 percent complete with pulses, cereal and oilseed crops nearing completion.
- Yields are variable and range from average to below average. Grain quality is good but small–sized seed and shrivelled kernels are common.
- Wheat stem sawfly damage is quite significant.
- Kochia and pigweed abound in some fields.
- Second cut haying underway.
Central
- Winter wheat, fall rye, lentils and pea harvests are most advanced at 75 percent complete.
- Little progress on spring wheat and canola.
- In west-central areas, harvest 30-50 percent done.
- Frost damage reported in many areas, with signs of heat damage in canola and mustard, as well as sprouting, weathering, bleaching and staining in cereals.
- Yields range from average to below average.
North
- Harvest progress slow with little advancement except in fall rye and peas.
- Swathing nearly completed.
- Rain caused bleaching and sprouting of peas and some weathering and staining in wheat.
- Reports of damage from sawfly and midge in wheat; aster yellows and sclerotinia in canola.
- Pastures are fair to good.
ALBERTA
South
- Harvest nearing completion on dryland in the south and at 75-85 percent in the west and northwest.
- Yields are poor to average with good quality.
- Pastures are poor due to dry conditions.
Central
- Swathing of all crops is underway, with peas nearing completion and canola about 60 percent.
- Higher than normal weed populations.
- Crops average to above average.
- Pastures are in good condition.
North
- Harvest is slowly advancing due to showers, with peas at 75 percent. Yields are 30-60 bu. an acre.
- Canola is 50 percent swathed. Pre-harvest desiccation has begun.
- Barley is about 25 percent swathed.
- Pastures are good and third cut hay is now completed.
Peace River
- Wet weather continues to delay harvest.
- Pea crops are most advanced at 35 percent combined. About 75 percent of canola is swathed.
- Cereals are now being swathed. Yields range from average to above average for cereals and average to below average for canola.
