Beef research website redesigned

The Beef Cattle Research Council has redesigned its website to offer more content and tools for beef producers, veterinary teams, researchers and other stakeholders at beefresearch.ca.

The BCRC has delivered science-based industry resources through their website for about a decade.

The enhanced website now includes interactive production calculators, videos and hundreds of beef and forage topics and articles.

One upgrade includes an improved mobile experience using an optimal display from any device, as well as a more robust search function.

Input sought on local elections

An online survey is asking Albertans how to improve election processes and accountability for locally elected officials.

The survey is open until July 22 and will help inform potential changes to the Municipal Government Act (MGA) and the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA).

Alberta’s government is also talking to elected officials on local councils, municipal administrations and municipal associations.

For more information and to complete the online survey, visit alberta.ca/local-elections-and-councillor-accountability-engagement.aspx.
