Regenerative ag certification received
Axten Family Farms of Minton, Sask., has become the first Canadian operation to receive regenerative agricultural certification from Regenified, a regenerative agriculture verification and certification body.
The Tier 5 certification signifies the highest level of regenerative practices and requires rigorous in-field evaluation, practice assessment and verification and outcomes assessment to measure progress.
Regenified says its mission is to facilitate the widespread global adoption of regenerative farming, addressing critical environmental challenges and ensuring the production of nutrient-dense, regeneratively grown food.
It says its 6-3-4 Verification Standard creates consistency and protocols to track progress in regenerative agricultural systems.
