Ontario farm show gets permanent site

The 100-acre site for Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show at Woodstock, Ont., will become its permanent home next year.

Glacier FarmMedia, parent company to the annual farm show, will work with the Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario to buy the site and lease some adjacent lands.

The sale is expected to be finalized in 2021.

Securing the land will ensure the show remains at the present location.

Glacier FarmMedia also plans to establish Discovery Farm Woodstock, an applied research facility.
