Biofuel applications
The Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council is accepting applications for funding under the Biofuels Opportunities for Producers Initiative.
The program is designed to help farmers and rural communities share in the benefits of the biofuel industry.
Initiative proposals must fall under one of the following four key areas:
- Securing technical, financial and business planning advisers to assist in the development of biofuel business proposals that involve a minimum of one-third ownership by farmers.
- Undertaking feasibility studies and other studies required to support business proposals.
- Investigating the pre-commercialization of biofuel-related research.
- Gathering information to identify opportunities and facilitate building biofuel capacity.
