The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts June 14 was $66.11. It was $66.44 on June 7.
U.S. hogs average was $87.61 on a carcass basis June 14, up from $85.98 on June 7.

Bison
The Canadian Bison Association reported domestic carcass prices for finished bulls $500to $535 per cwt., hot hanging weight. Finished heifers were $495 to $515 cwt. HHW. Mature bulls were $300 to $400 cwt. HHW, while mature cows were $300 to $400 cwt. HHW.
Carcass prices for bison being sold into the U.S. were US$415 to $435 for bulls per cwt. HHW. Heifers were $380 to $420 per cwt. HHW. Mature bulls were $320 to US$335 while mature cows were $300 to US$330 per cwt. HHW. All prices are subject to fluctuations in the market and dollar exchange rates.
Prices for live bison in Canada were $2.95 per pound for bulls and $2.90 per pound for heifers of good quality or better. Mixed live animal price was $2.53 to $2.88 per pound.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported 306 sheep and 1,841 lambs sold June 10.
Beaver Hill Auctions at Tofield, Alberta reported 1,472 sheep and 303 goats sold June 10.
Wool lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $260-$325 per cwt., 55-69 lb. were $250-$295, 70-85 lb. were $265-$344, 86-105 lb. were $280-$365, and 106 lb. and heavier were $270-$316. Wool rams were $130-$240 per cwt. Cull ewes were $120-$235.
Hair lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $260-$300, 55-69 lb. were $230-$288, 70-85 lb. were $260-$330, 86-105 lb. were $270-$330 and 106 lb. and heavier were $250-$310. Hair rams were $150-$190 per cwt. Cull ewes were $120-$190.
