The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was not available Oct. 13 or Oct. 5.
U.S. hogs averaged was $ 68 on a carcass basis Oct. 13, down from $69.50 Oct. 5.
The U.S. pork cutout was $ 90.50 per hundredweight Oct. 13, down from $94.98 Oct. 5.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to Oct. 13 was 2.422 million. It was 2.411 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.441 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the Oct. 14 Signature Four price was $203.11 per 100 kilograms, down from $207.94.

Beaver Hill Auctions at Tofield, Alta., reported that 2,386 sheep and 511 goats sold Oct. 2.
Wool lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $170-$206 per cwt., 55-69 lb. were $175-$206, 70-85 lb. were $175-$202, 86-105 lb. were $178-$201, and 106 lb. and heavier were $178-$205. Wool rams were $105-$150 per cwt. Cull ewes were $72-$125.
Hair lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $150-$185, 55-69 lb. were $155-$182, 70-85 lb. were $160-$199, 86-105 lb. were $170-$198 and 106 lb. and heavier were $170-$198. Hair rams were $110-$152 per cwt. Cull ewes were $70-$135.
