The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts July 25 was not available.
U.S. hogs averaged $117.19 on a carcass basis July 25, down from $118.72 July 15.
The U.S. pork cutout was $127.82 per hundredweight July 25, up from $122.18 July15.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to July 23 was 2.285 million, up from 2.255 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.288 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the July 23 Signature Four price was C$260.06 per 100 kilograms, up from $252.81.

Prices offered by Canadian buyers for slaughter in Canada start at $4.25 per lb. hot hanging weight for bison bulls and heifers.
Canadian buyers are offering $4.60-$4.80 for prime bulls and $4.50-$4.70 for heifers for slaughter in the United States.
U.S. buyers are paying US$3.75- $4 per lb. hot hanging weight for prime bulls from Canada for U.S. slaughter, where slaughter times are booked. Heifers are being purchased at $3.50-$3.75. Returns to producers are dependent on exchange rates, quality, transportation and export costs.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 1,429 sheep and lambs sold July 18. At 95 to 105 lb. the average was $210.10. 80 to 94 lb. were went $239, 110+ were $186 and sheep were $195.
