Hogs
The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was $24.38 June 12, down from $26.23 June 5.
U.S. hogs averaged $30.36 on a carcass basis June 12, down from $32.14 June 5.
The U.S. pork cutout was $69.99 per cwt. June 12, down from $72.78 June 5.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to June 13 was 2.457 million, up from 2.442 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.439 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the June 13 Signature Four price was C$133.52 per 100 kilograms, down from $150.51.

Bison
The Canadian Bison Association said Grade A bulls in the desirable weight range were offered prices from C$3.50 per pound hot hanging weight. U.S. buyers offered US$3.85 per lb. with returns dependent on exchange rates, quality and export costs.
Grade A heifers were offered C$3.60 per lb. hot hanging weight. U.S. buyers are offering US$3.60 per lb.
Animals outside the desirable buyer specifications may be discounted.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 923 sheep and lambs and 14 goats sold June 8. A medium quality offering of lambs sold at steady prices. Sheep and rams traded at strong prices. A light run of goats traded very actively at strong prices.
