Hogs
The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was US$57.54 per hundredweight June 21, down from $58.96 June 14.
U.S. hogs averaged $74.03 on a carcass basis June 21, down from $75.79 June 14.
The U.S. pork cutout was $86.73 per cwt. June 21, up from $83.21 June 14.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to June 22 was 2.449 million, up from 2.431 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.164 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the June 15 Signature Five price was C$187.88 per 100 kilograms, up from $186.47 the previous week.

Bison
The Canadian Bison Association said Grade A bulls in the desirable weight range sold at prices from C$4.90-$5.20 per pound hot hanging weight. U.S. buyers are offering US$4.30 or more with returns dependent on exchange rates, quality and export costs.
Grade A heifers sold up to C$4.90-$5.10. U.S. buyers are offering US$4.10.
Animals outside the desirable buyer specifications may be discounted.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 1,215 sheep and lambs and 35 goats sold June 17. All lambs traded $10-$20 per cwt. lower. All sheep traded $10 per cwt. lower. Goats were barely steady.
