Hogs
The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was US$40.51 per hundredweight Nov. 16, down from $42.79 Nov. 9.
U.S. hogs averaged $51.60 on a carcass basis Nov. 16, down from $53.35 Nov. 9.
The U.S. pork cutout was $68.18 per cwt. Nov. 16, down from $70.27 Nov. 9.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to Nov. 17 was 2.626 million, up from 2.589 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.476 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the Nov. 17 Signature Five price was C$135.72 per 100 kilograms, down from $142.56 the previous week.

On a per cwt. basis, the price was $61.56, down from $64.66.
Bison
The Canadian Bison Association said Grade A bulls in the desirable weight range sold at prices from C$5.75-$6 per pound hot hanging weight. U.S. buyers are offering US$4.60 or more with returns dependent on exchange rates, quality and export costs.
Grade A heifers sold up to C$5.55-$5.80. U.S. buyers are offering US$4.40.
Animals outside the desirable buyer specifications may be discounted.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 967 sheep and lambs and 40 goats sold Nov. 12. All lambs traded actively at about steady prices. Good lean sheep sold higher, while all other types were steady. Goats sold steady.
