Fertilizer price trends were mostly steady except for weaker potash values in recent weeks.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture surveys input costs in Illinois every two weeks. The following prices are for Nov. 12 and are in U.S. dollars per short ton. The prices are compared to the Oct. 29 report.
The range for urea 46-0-0 was steady at $360 to $385, and the average was $376, up $1 from Oct. 29.
Anhydrous ammonia range was steady at $395 to $460. The average was $431.31, up 64 cents.
Liquid nitrogen 28 was fairly steady at $200 to $225, with an average of $214.50, up $33 cents from the previous report.
Diammonium phosphate 18-46-0 price range was steady at $350 to $410. The average was $379.06, down $2.06.
The bottom end of the potash range fell $25. It was $500 to $600. The average was $556.06, down $14.69 from the Oct 29 report.
