Potash price dips

Nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer prices are rising and potash is falling.

The following prices, based on a regular USDA survey in Illinois, compare Jan. 7 to Nov. 25 and are in U.S. dollars per short ton.

The range for urea 46-0-0 was $389 to $450 to average $420.50, up from $376 on Nov. 25. The anhydrous ammonia range was $495 to $540 to average $518.50, up from $431.31.

Diammonium phosphate DAP 18-46-0 ranged from $407 to $485. The average was $435.79, up from $378.44.

The potash range was $470 to $560 to average $510.92, down from $552.82.
