Africa sees growing wheat demand

The EU and Russia are the primary suppliers of wheat to Sub-Saharan Africa, but Canada and the U.S are also players in the region

Wheat imports declined for China, Turkey, Pakistan and Kazakhstan, but expanded by seven per cent in Sub-Saharan Africa, said a new report by the United States Department of Agriculture.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposed a massive increase in the U.S. biomass-based diesel mandate, which includes biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel.
