FarmLink Marketing Solutions and Farm at Hand are merging.
“The merger made sense be-cause we had two great companies, the cultural fit is fantastic and we have the same vision for the future of the agriculture industry,” said Kim Keller, who co-founded Farm at Hand with Himanshu Singh.
The two companies have worked together for years. Brenda Tjaden Lepp and Mark Lepp, co-founders of FarmLink, were early investors in Farm at Hand.
Tjaden Lepp said FarmLink was interested in data management services that Farm at Hand offered.

China’s grain imports have slumped big-time
China purchased just over 20 million tonnes of wheat, corn, barley and sorghum last year, that is well below the 60 million tonnes purchased in 2021-22.
It wanted to develop some of those services but would have had to start from scratch.
In particular, FarmLink wanted a bin inventory management system that Farm at Hand developed.
“We were really at risk of falling behind if we didn’t do something like this,” Tjaden Lepp said.
“I feel really fantastic that we found the right partners. I feel that we’re really going to accelerate.”
Keller said Farm at Hand customers won’t initially notice many changes, but as time goes on they will be able to see added benefits and services.
“We’re going to be able to move a lot faster and provide farmers with that platform to connect them with all their different ag service providers,” Keller said.
The merger negotiations took place over a six week period.
Financial details were not re-leased.
