The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was not available July 21 or July 14.
U.S. hogs averaged $101.03 on a carcass basis July 21, up from $99.91 July 14.
The U.S. pork cutout was $115.25 per hundredweight July 21, down from $115.55 July 14.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to July 21 was 2.284 million. It was 2.302 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.249 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the July 22 Signature Four price was $240.59 per 100 kilograms, up from $232.74.

Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 625 sheep and 675 lambs sold July 10.
Beaver Hill Auctions at Tofield, Alta., reported 1,516 sheep and 416 goats sold July 17.
Wool lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $200-$295 per cwt., 55-69 lb. were $210-$235, 70-85 lb. were $200-$235, 86-105 lb. were $200-$246, and 106 lb. and heavier were $210-$239. Wool rams were $100-$179 per cwt. Cull ewes were $85-$161.
Hair lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $190-$245, 55-69 lb. were $190-$225, 70-85 lb. were $190-$235, 86-105 lb. were $200-$236 and 106 lb. and heavier were $200-$228. Hair rams were $110-$140 per cwt. Cull ewes were $90-$145.
