Interim payments for the 2005-06 crop year have been announced for all grades of wheat, durum, designated barley and pool B feed barley.
The payments for wheat are $8 per tonne and for durum $8 to $10 per tonne. The interim for feed barley pool B is $46 per tonne and for designated barley $5 per tonne.
The Canadian Wheat Board is investigating the possibility of combining this interim payment with the coming final payment, with expectations that a combined cheque or direct deposit would be delivered on Dec. 15.
