Bayrou is the third head of government in France to be ousted in the past 14 months, leaving President Emmanuel Macron once again looking for a successor from the divided parliament.

 

  • Nepal’s Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli also resigned a day after deadly protests over alleged government corruption killed 19 people. Defying a curfew, protesters broke into the parliament building and set it on fire, says an official, Earlier, they stormed the office of the country’s largest party, Nepali Congress, and residences of several prominent politicians, reported Al Jazeera.
