WINNIPEG, Nov. 23 (CNS Canada) – CORN futures on the Chicago Board of Trade were narrowly mixed on Wednesday, lacking any clear direction as traders squared positions ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Canadian wheat exports to the Middle East are down sharply, according to a report by Grainboard.ru. The report says just 2.4 million tonnes of wheat has been sent so far.
Dry conditions on the US Southern Plains are beginning to cause problems for crops that were planted early and/or have limited irrigation, according to a report on world-grain.com. Hard red winter wheat production is especially at risk of declines, especially in areas in the west-central high plains.
