Canadian Dollar And Business Outlook

Winnipeg, April 25 (CNS Canada) – The Canadian dollar was
trending lower against its U.S. counterpart on Wednesday morning,
tracking losses in gold and natural gas.
The loonie was engaged in sideways trade action against the
American greenback, and could be vulnerable to short-term pullbacks.
At 9:10 CDT Wednesday morning the Canadian dollar was at
US$0.7764 or C$1.2880 which compares with Tuesday’s North American
close of US$0.7795 or C$1.2828.
Canadian energy giant Cenovus announced a quarterly loss of
C$914 million on Wednesday.
At 9:10 CDT Wednesday morning, the TSX was down 14.65 points,
or 0.09%, at 15,462.35.
