Ag in Motion 2025 has more than 100 acres of outdoor trade show space for its over 500 exhibitors.
That’s a good thing, as the Unverferth Manufacturing Company needed the extra elbow room to unveil their new Brent 3298 Avalanche dual-auger grain cart.

Sask. ag group wants strychnine back
The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan has written to the federal government asking for emergency use of strychnine to control gophers
“It has the longest and widest track in the industry. It has the ability to camber side to side and has suspension. It can also walk within the track itself,” said Shawn Berry, territory manger for Unverferth, speaking on the behemoth at its display plot/booth near Langham, Sask. at Ag in Motion.
The 3298 model has a record 3,150 bushel hopper capacity, claiming the biggest grain cart in the industry, with Flash-like unloading speed up to 1,000 bushels per minute. The suspension Berry spoke of is patent-pending laterally mounted rubber-cushioned track suspension, adding extra cushion over rough terrain. Depending on operator preference, the 3298 can be ordered with a traditional left-hand unloading auger or a right-hand unload configuration. Onlookers saw checklist of a dozen different positive selling points with Berry hearing plenty of buzz among Saskatchewan agriculture producers with its water-delivery system.
“It has a 275-gallon tank, 100-foot hose reel and has hydraulic pump,” said Berry.

To lessen the foot print, the standard four-way directional downspout allows the operator to re-direct grain with limited tractor movement to top off trucks. The 50” wide Equalizer SP undercarriage track features 128” of ground contact length for more than 88 sq. ft. of surface area for maximum flotation.
They say time is money, and the sheer size of the Brent 3298 Avalanche allows for a condensed work schedule tending to the fields.
“It’s all about capacity. For combines, their capacity is so much larger now and you have limited manpower. If they have enough manpower, they’d probably run multiple carts,” said Berry.
“But, you’re getting back to using one tractor, one operator and having the capacity to keep up with multiple combines,” said Berry.
