Middle cuts are moving well and frozen inventory is low.Grade A youthful bulls younger than 30 months in the desirable weight range were $2.55-$2.85 Cdn per lb. hot hanging weight.Grade A youthful heifers younger than 30 months rose to $2.40-$2.70.Strong trim demand drove slaughter cows and bulls higher to $1.65-$1.75 hot hanging weight.Ontario Stockyards reported 1,419 sheep and lambs and 88 goats traded June 7. Lambs were under pressure with prices falling $10-$15 per cwt.Sheep and goats were steady.Olds Auction in Olds, Alta., saw feeder lambs fetch $85-$150 per head June 8. Ewes were $70-$110, rams were $110-$160, nanny goats $80-$130 and billy goats $100-$175.
