Lambs lighter than 70 lb. were $165-$221 per cwt. Lambs 70 to 85 lb. were $155-$178, 86 to 105 lb. were $145-$772 and those heavier than 105 lb. were $131-$156.
Rams were $69-$80 per cwt. Cull ewes were $62-$79. Bred ewes were $105-$173.
Good kid goats heavier than 50 lb. were $162.50-$211 per cwt. Nannies were $65-$95 per cwt. Bred nannies were $120-$140. Mature billies were $100-$140.
Ontario Stockyards on April 19 sold 1,118 sheep and lambs and 108 goats. Light and heavy lambs were steady. Sheep were $5 to $7 lower. Quality goats were steady but all others were under pressure.
