Hogs
The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was $80.22 June 27. It was not available June 20.
U.S. hogs averaged $108.09 on a carcass basis June 27, down from $110.46 June 20.

The U.S. pork cutout was $117.46 per hundredweight June 27, down from $122.14 June 20.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to June 27 was 2.350 million. It was 2.342 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.352 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the June 28 Signature Four price was $263.19 per 100 kilograms, up from $250.92.
The June 28 Hams Marketing cash price was $261.19, while on June 21 it was $248.92. HyLife was $280.72 this week and $269.22 June 21. OlyWest was $267.70, down from $280.72 last week.
OlyWest 2021 was up, at $276.60, from $262.40, and HyLife’s adjusted price was $283.34 this week. On June 21 it was $276.94.
Bison
The Canadian Bison Association reported domestic carcass prices of $635-$690 per cwt., hot hanging weight, for finished bulls and $610-$660 per cwt. for finished heifers. Mature bulls were $500-$550 per cwt., while mature cows were $500-$550 per cwt.
Carcass prices for bison sold into the United States were US$485-$500 per cwt. for bulls and $450-$475 per cwt. for heifers.
Prices for mature bulls and cows were not available.
All prices are subject to fluctuations in the market and dollar exchange rates.
Prices for live bulls and heifers in Canada were not available.
The mixed live animal price was C$5.25 per pound.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 277 sheep and 641 lambs sold June 23.
Beaver Hill Auctions at Tofield, Alta., reported that 1,410 sheep and 423 goats sold June 23.
Wool lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $380-$425 per cwt., 55-69 lb. were $350-$420, 70-85 lb. were $350-$395, 86-105 lb. were $340-$375, and 106 lb. and heavier were $328-$368. Wool rams were $170-$230 per cwt. Cull ewes were $150-$240.
Hair lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $345-$405, 55-69 lb. were $335-$385, 70-85 lb. were $330-$380, 86-105 lb. were $330-$370 and 106 lb. and heavier were $310-$340. Hair rams were $165-$235 per cwt. Cull ewes were $145-$230.
