Equine Canada wants to know where the horses are as it builds a national identification and traceability program.The National Equine Industry Traceability Readiness Study will assist in planning and developing a national equine identification and traceability program that will reflect the needs and practices of the Canadian horse industry.Telephone interviews will ask selected horse owners questions about their animals and participation in the industry, said a release from the organization.
