Idahoan elected president of NCBA

An Idaho cow-calf producer is the new president of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

Eric Davis, a beef producer from Bruneau, Idaho, is past-president of the Idaho Cattle Association and also chaired the Idaho Beef Council.

A graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in agriculture, Davis is president of the family-owned Bruneau Cattle Co., which includes a cow-calf and finishing operation near Bruneau.

Jan Lyons, a beef producer from Manhattan, Kansas, is NCBA’s new president-elect after serving as its vice president.

Jim McAdams of Lubbock, Texas, formerly vice-president of NCBA’s policy division, was elected NCBA vice-president.
