EDMONTON – A Charolais bull has been named grand champion for the first time at Farmfair International’s Supreme Show of Champions.
The bull was led into the ring by Tyler Bullick of Prairie Cove Charolais, who leapt into the air waving his show stick when the judges slapped his animal on the hind end.
“This is the greatest thing that’s ever happened,” said Bullick, who wins a truck as part of his prize package.
Bullick thought he had a good chance of winning, but said it wasn’t a sure thing.
