Ruth Cressman captured the filling of Eagle Creek earlier this fall near Rosetown, Sask., with the help of her grandchildren. The creek, which runs through the farm she operates with husband Laverne, had been dry this summer, as can be seen by the photo taken Sept. 18. They returned to the pasture Oct. 25 when springs opened up and the creek began to fill, and made another visit two days later, this time with rubber boots and slush pants, to revel in water that had been in short supply this drought year. | Ruth Cressman photos
