The Manitoba Co-operative Council will hold its annual co-operative youth leadership seminar at Clear Lake near Onanole, Man., from May 5-8.
Another seminar will be held the third week of October, said council spokesperson Ryan Gibson.
The seminars, held since 1985, develop leadership and co-operative attitudes in students aged 15-19.
Gibson said rural kids make up half of the 40 students at each seminar, usually because most co-ops are located in rural areas. He said the number of youths at the camp is limited only by the number of adult volunteers.
Information on registration is available at local co-operatives, credit unions and schools or by phoning Gibson at 204-726-3221.
