Volunteer members of the JJ Collett Natural Area near Morningside, Alta., recently built a boardwalk as part of the park’s trail system.

The park consists of 635 acres of aspen parkland and features more than 18 kilometres of maintained trails through shrub lands, aspen groves, stands of white spruce on moist shady hillsides, wetlands and grassy meadows typical of the area. | Duane McCartney photos
