Nominations close Jan. 30 for the outstanding young farmer competition for the Alberta-Northwest Territories region.
Nominees may be individuals, couples or partners who derive at least two-thirds of their gross revenue from farming and who are younger than 40 years.
The region will select its winner during a competition at the Calgary Stampede in July.
The winner will advance to the nationals to compete with six other regional nominees in St. Hyacinthe, Que., from Dec. 4-9.
