Canadian 4-H members are being asked to nominate people for the ninth annual Canadian volunteer leader of the year award.
“Across Canada, 4-H volunteer leaders play a pivotal role for 4-H members and 4-H projects,” said Bob McAuley, the president of the Canadian 4-H Council, in a news release.
He said the 23,000 4-H members rely on the 8,500 leaders in Canada.
Provincial winners and a national winner will be chosen to receive cash and other prizes. Nominations close Oct. 15.
